The Natural Turner
After 30 years of moving across Canada with the Canadian Armed Forces, Diane and Robert Robinson have made their permanent home in the Outaouais since 2012. Having finally settled in one area has allowed them to pursue their creative passions and they would like to share them with the community.
Diane’s talents revolve around one of a kind creations in canvass art, jewelry, pyrography and dot art. Her typical mediums are in wood, canvass and stone/rock. She has an eye for detail and her creations range from delightful everyday useful items to abstract décor items. Diane is always up for a challenge and welcomes to hear from you if you have a certain vision or idea.
Robert’s projects lean toward unique wooden items. He has created several furniture pieces over the years but his latest endeavors are wood turned items. He is self-taught and has been creating wood turnings for over 15 years. Projects range from bowls, goblets, vases and platters plus more. If you are looking for something truly unique, he invites you to look at their photo album on their Facebook page.
Their vision is that their project will be with your family for generations to come. They will always provide advice on how to maintain their project and even offer follow–up services to put a “shine” back into your treasured piece. They are very pleased to be part of Placedes Marchands et des Artisans in supporting buying local and encouraging talent from the Outaouais.
